Hazardous Waste must be disposed of properly and is not picked up with your curbside trash collection nor can it be disposed of at the Residential Drop-Off Center.
The Town of Braintree has an annual Household Hazardous Waste Event.  Watch for announcements.

THE TOWN OF BRAINTREE IS NOW A MEMBER OF THE SOUTH SHORE REYCLING COOPERATIVE WHICH WILL ALLOW BRAINTREE RESIDENTS TO ATTEND THE HOUSEHOLD HAZADOUS WASTE EVENTS AND ELECTRONIC DROP-OFF IN OTHER TOWNS.  PLEASE REFER TO THEIR WEBSITE FOR DETAILS:  SOUTH SHORE RECYCLING COOPERATIVE

Clean Harbors  Opens in New Window  - Located at 1 Hill Avenue in Braintree and accepts all household hazardous waste.  It is open only on the second Saturday of each month.;  May 13th, June 10th, July 8th August 12, September 9th and October 14th.  Call for information  781-380-7177        Braintree ID required for discount.
